NVA’s mission is to help improve the health and quality of life of women (and biological females) suffering from vulvodynia, chronic vulvar pain without an identifiable cause. Many sufferers report vulvar burning and painful intercourse. Some of the things NVA does is educates patients, identifies support groups, and emphasizes a coordinated interdisciplinary approach to patients’ medical care.
